If there was ever a time to do your homework…this would be the time! Often Realtors® work by referral, but before you hire the agent your friend or family member suggested, you need to do a bit of investigating! It’s in your best interest trust me!

An effectively prepared, staged, and marketed home will attract more buyers, sell quicker, and sell more profitably then any other home on the market that lacks these qualities.
It’s just the way it is. Your home has only one chance and a small window of opportunity to get sold before buyers start wondering what’s wrong!
Do your homework and hire a real estate agent that knows how to market your home effectively.
Again…the lawn sign and an MLS listing is just not going to get you the best exposure or anything close to the best results.
Don’t shoot yourself in the foot. Once you sign a contract with a Realtor® you are committing to at least a 3 month period that your house will be tied up for. If the agent you hired sucks…your stuck!
Get More Than One Opinion!!
I always suggest that people get more than one opinion on the price when selling your Niagara home. That being said a very good agent will do tireless research to ensure that they not only price your home correctly, but also put together a very comprehensive marketing plan. Additionally they will work very closely with the sellers to come up with the best possible outcome for the home you are selling.
Every situation is different. Having a few opinions from other agents is always a good way to confirm your selling price and gauge different approaches to selling your home. I think you will be sadly awaken to the fact that most do nothing more then pull a few neighbourhood comparable and tell you what they think it’s worth. No talk of how your home could be improved, staged, updated, or marketed to expose the good points of the home that will likely get it to sell quickly and for the most money. So be careful when selling your Niagara home!
